The Storied Career of Don Manifold Spans the Globe, Blazes New Trails in Commerce

Don Manifold completed a degree in economics at Australia’s Flinders University in 1991. Even though he graduated from the Adelaide institution with honors, few could have predicted this intelligent young man would move on to gain international renown as one of the world’s finest minds in the realm of handling mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

But before he launched into the “real world” of work, Manifold furthered his education by earning a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Australian Graduate School of Management. The latter is rated among the top schools of its kind in the world.

Don Manifold rounded out his expertise by becoming a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Fast forward to today and Don Manifold is serving as the joint managing director of Manifold Advisory Partners, a group he also founded. He is the current chair of ADX Depot, EC Carpets and Hybrid Ag. He formerly served as chairman of Booth Transport.

Additionally, Manifold takes on the role of director of Whittles Management and sits on the Seymour College Finance and Risk Committee.

Don’s career now spans three decades. About 25 of those years were engrossed in the corporate finance sector. This included 15 years in transaction advisory. Much of the latter was in leadership roles.

His experience is broad and varied, having worked in the agriculture, consumer goods, IT, financial, manufacturing and retail sectors. In addition to working in his native Australia, Don Manifold has plied his trade in the United Kingdom and Croatia.

In the course of his many pursuits, Don has shepherded more than 60 completed acquisitions, IPOs, capital funding rounds and divestments that account for some $3 billion. In addition to that, he wrote more than 50 reports and created valuations as an independent consultant to the tune of $25 billion.

Manifold came full circle in 2006 when he returned to Adelaide to work at KPGM. His first job out of college in 1990 was in Adelaide. Go Here for related Information.
