Robert Kraft
Kraft was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, to Jewish parents Alois and Edith (née Segal) Kraft. His father was a grocer who owned two grocery stores in the Boston area, one of which was located on Newbury Street in Brookline.

Robert Kraft is the owner of the New England Patriots, an NFL team based in Foxborough, Massachusetts. He was born on December 5, 1949, in Brookline. Kraft is one of five children. His parents had three sons and a daughter. His father owned two grocery stores in Brookline which he sold when Robert was 10 years old. He attended Brookline High School where he played football and baseball and graduated.

Robert Kraft started working at his father’s grocery store as a stock boy right out of high school. He then worked at a variety of jobs until he became a stockbroker with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corp. The firm was bought by Shearson & Co., which later merged with American Express to become Shearson Lehman Hutton Inc. or S&L for short. In 1978, he left S&L to become executive vice president of the New England Patriots Football Club (the Patriots). The club was owned by Victor Kiam. In 1982, Kraft bought the team from Kiam for $20 million.

Robert Kraft married his high school sweetheart, Myra. Together they had three children: Robert III , Jonathan , and Jennifer . Robert is also a very successful businessman who has made many investments in different industries such as real estate, sports, and technology.
