Kelcy Warren is a highly successful American executive, philanthropist and author. His success in his professional and personal life has led to him being featured as a leader in many high-profile magazines including The Economist, Fortune, Forbes and others.

He is the CEO of Energy Transfer Partners which provides natural gas to over 60 million customers across 30 U.S. states.

As of 2015, Warren’s net worth is reportedly $5 billion.

Warren holds a degree in Finance from University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. During his time at school, Warren was a co-recipient of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars’ NACOS Blackstone Award, an honor given to the top ten percent in their class. He used his prize money to fund scholarships for students in need and scholars with major emphasis on African-American students.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Warren went on to work for Capital Consultants specializing in mergers and acquisitions. There he was responsible for $2 billion in assets.

Kelcy Warren left Capital Consultants to start his own oil and gas company, Energy Transfer Equity, which became publicly traded in 2007. Energy Transfer Partners is currently the second largest pipeline company in the U.S., as of 2015.

Kelcy Warren is the Chairman of the Board at Energy Transfer Partners and was named CEO in April 2014.

Warren has been extremely successful where he made his name as an entrepreneur. Warren oversees the $25 billion natural gas and propane company, Energy Transfer Partners. The company builds, maintains and operates around 47,000 miles of pipelines, 13 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity and more than 14,000 miles of gathering lines. Warren is also Vice Chairman of Phillips 66 as well as a member of the company’s Board of Directors.
