Gino Pozzo
Gino Pozzo is the president and general manager of Bologna Football Club, the current Italian Serie A Champions.He took over the team in 1999 and has led them to winning five consecutive scudetto titles (and two Coppa Italia cups) since 2003.

Gino Pozzo was born in Bologna, Italy. He started his football career in the youth system of Bologna FC. When the club was promoted from Serie D to Serie C2 he became scout and assistant coach of the first team. Since then he has risen steadily through the club’s ranks and become vice-president in 1999 and president since 2003.
During this time the club has won five consecutive Italian championship titles (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003), two Coppa Italia cups (2002 and 2003), a Supercoppa Italiana title (2003) and three Supercoppa Italiana runners-up (1999, 2000, 2001). The club has also maintained a strong youth academy since his arrival: in 2003 it produced 18 players for the first team. Bologna FC has a great record in the UEFA Cup (32 matches, 5 draws, 20 wins); it is also the only Italian team to have recorded a win over either Liverpool or AC Milan. Bologna FC is also consistently represented in international youth competitions; under Pozzo’s leadership as manager, the club has won five UEFA Youth Champions Cups (1999, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007). Gino Pozzo has made a total of 36 appearances for the Italian national team between 1974 and 1978. He later became a coach of the team and has achieved significant success, most recently winning gold at the 2006 Special Olympics World Games, playing with amateur players with intellectual disabilities. He has also coached the Italy national under-21 football team, winning the European under-21 championships in 2002.
Gino Pozzo is considered a visionary in Italian football; he is often credited as one of the main reasons that Italy has maintained its position as one of the top teams in world football for over 20 years.
